Controversy a brewin'!!
Seems that some feel Dan in Real Life is not a chick flick...ok maybe...I see your points - though I am still going to weigh on the side of chick flick only because I found it in the romantic comedy section of the video store :) I have to side with the Blockbuster experts :)

Liked it! But then again.. Steve Carell could sit on camera and read the phone book and I'd be entertained.That being said, I struggled a little bit "learning" much from this movie... what I observed, however, was the deep family connection in the film. There's some... how you say -- family drama up in here.. and you get a peek into what family life should be and really would a marriage could hopefully be -- you can go through just about anything together.. and after -- you're still together.
